Loan Operations Assistant
Position Summary:
The Loan Operations Assistant is responsible for processing and maintaining consumer and commercial loans throughout the life of the loan in a professional, efficient manner.

Functions and Responsibilities:
- Prints Daily loan notices, letters, statements: Separates and distributes notices, letters, and statements to the Loan Officers, Loan Assistants, and/or mails to customers.
- Pulls paid loans.
- Accurately balances daily loan totals to various general ledgers.
- Corrects and posts UIR's.
- Posts activity descriptions on various general ledgers when needed.
- Posts extensions, renewals, and onboards new loans.
- Posts mail in payments.
- Posts draws when requested.
- Reviews and corrects transaction errors, post adjustments, reversals and reposts when necessary.
- Funds and transfers all loans from the loan interfaces to the core.
- Processes Notice of Security Interest (NOSI) and title applications online or manually, as required.
- Post curtailments of dealer floor plans in a timely manner and accurately balances for plans each month.
- Processes bankruptcy payments and charged-off payments as needed.
- Orders loan coupon books.
- Reviews expiration date on different loan types and sends email to Officers, Assistants and renews accordingly.
- Inputs vehicle insurance on collateral on the core.
- Runs various reports in Image Centre on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
- Answers incoming loan calls in a polite and efficient manner.
- Works with Loan Officers and Loan Assistants to complete daily goals and maintenance.
- Checks and files loans, auto debits, extension/modifications.
- Escrow analysis process and maintenance as needed.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, aptitude for numbers and orientation towards detail.
- Ability to prioritize job duties.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written skills with customers in English.
- Must be able to physically type on a keyboard with an above average knowledge of computers.
- Must demonstrate good working habits, maintain a professional appearance, attitude and follow policies and procedures.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read computer screens and email, mail and talk on the phone.
- Ability to lift up to twenty five (25) pounds.
